Again we come back to our strong feelings about "Beach Front" vacations. You've spent some time and a more than a few bucks to travel to the great Virginia Family Vacation Beaches area -- and hopefully are staying in a Oceanfront vacation beaches condo rental.
-- and you're on Vacation! So lets dine out at a few Top Pick Oceanfront Virginia Beach Restaurants a few times during the week. You can do "fast food" at home. Relax and enjoy the great view while you leisurely dine.
If you are in a Virginia vacation beach condo rental, you can always average down the costs of eating out by getting some TV dinners for a couple of meals. (Ugh! I know! -- Hear me out on this.) -- a couple of meals of "Scenic Dining" on your own Condo Balcony overlooking the ocean -- and Mom still doesn't have to cook! The view and sounds of the ocean helps you forget you are eating a TV dinner! (OK - vote may still be out on that!)
Rock Fish Boardwalk and Sea Grill
Beach front at 16th and Atlantic Avenue - in The Boardwalk Resort.
(The Boardwalk Resort is a very nice fairly new Beach front Timeshare Resort where you can rent Vacation Condos by the way - we will try for a week exchange there next time.)
Suggest eating outside on the patio with a great view of the Boardwalk and the ocean and less of the sometimes loud rock and roll music inside. A little pricey, but good food and we had great service. View is worth some of the price! Good Oceanfront Virginia Beach Restaurants option.
Nice landscaping in front of The Boardwalk Resort - right next to the Rock Fish outdoor dining patio area.
Tip 
We received a $30 meal coupon earlier in the day for going to a a 45 minute Timeshare purchase pitch at the Boardwalk Resort and used the coupon to cover most of the evening meal cost.
If the kids are along, maybe it would be a good plan to check out your Resort's recommended sitter list so Mom and Dad can have a great night out alone at one of the Virginia Beach VA Restaurants -- at least one night during the week!)
Mahi Mah's Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Saloon
- at 6th and Atlantic Avenue - Oceanfront - in The Ramada on the Beach Hotel.
"Rich" interior design with wide wood trim, Fireplace, and interesting "old" style embossed metal ceiling to go with the antique belt-driven ceiling fans -- which work!
We were told the antique fans were out of an Historic hotel in the area which was recently torn down and the fans were then installed when this Virginia Beach restaurant was remodled. Long belts between fans with one drive motor in kitchen area for all. Interesting.
This restaurant was the "Locals" top rated among Virginia Beach Restaurants to go to for Sunday "All-you-can-eat" Oceanfront Breakfeast Buffett. Mahi Mah's has won several awards. They have nightly entertainment on the 7th street Boardwalk Stage at the north end of the building.
Discount coupons are in Local "Coupon Book" which is available everywhere for free. The word must have gotten out, because the place was packed! Buffet style self serve moved right along so got to eat as soon as were seated. Good variety of hot Buffet items which were restocked regularly.
Tip Don't miss the "Omlet Man" who is only there Sunday mornings and cooks up special order omlets. We found Mahi Mahi's to be a good Sunday morning Virginia Beach restaurants choice.
Plenty of food for the money , a good atmosphere and a great view of the Boardwalk and Beach to boot!

Waterman's Beachwood Grill
-- on corner of 5th Street and Atlantic Avenue on the Beach.
-- Picture taken from the Boardwalk shows outdoor Gazebo where they have Live Outdoor Entertainment Wednesday - Sunday.

Waterman's was another Oceanfront restaurant that was highly rated by the "Locals." Multi-level "Tiered" seating so everyone has a good view of the Beach and the Boardwalk.
Tip Discount Coupons are available in the local "Coupon Booklets" which are available free everywhere and in most Virginia Beach Restaurants. Early Bird Special from 4-6 pm every day for those who like to dine early and beat the rush.
Good food at reasonable prices. We had great service too. We were there after dark and I forgot the camera so I did not get any interior pictures or an "inside" picture of the view of the Beach.
