North Landing Beach Campground & RV Resort

We LOVED this campground. It's about a 20 min drive from Virginia Beach Oceanfront and a 7 min drive to Knotts Island. We enjoyed a winery at Knotts Island recommended by the campground and had a great time.

They offer firewood inexpensively, the bath housese were clean. There is 24 hour security. We easily made our reservations online. They have a large store and a water balloon launching station for the kids and a newly renovated pool. A beautiful pavilion with a movie night and activities on the weekends. Waterfront camping (the sunsets were beautiful)

We stayed here in a tent but will try a waterfront cottage next time. They don't have any extra person charges and we loved that - by the time we figured out the extra person charges at the other area resorts it would have been cheaper to stay in a hotel as we have 4 children.

The kids loved it and we'll be back for sure. The seem a little under staffed and couldn't get anyone on the phone but enjoyed the website and fast online reservations.
